TERMS OF SERVICE
BASICS
Alpheans are a closed species owned by InkAntlers and are not allowed to be created freely without the owners' expressed permission. Members are required to be 18+ to acquire an Alphean and to join and partake in the species events and discord. Nothing involving the species may be used in any blockchain-related technology, to include NFT’s, cryptocurrency or future inventions in the space.Failure to adhere to this rule will result in an immediate blacklisting from the species. Please read the rules of the species thoroughly before acquiring one of your own, as you will be agreeing to these rules when you accept ownership of a design whether it be via purchase, trade or gift, etc.We ask that you keep things such as personal drama between the people involved and not drag it into our community. Regardless of how mature some subject in this species and its lore can be, we ask that you keep real life subjects such as politics, war etc out of the community as it can be upsetting to many. Situations of art theft, rip-offs and other such situations are taken seriously and should be brought to the team with the necessary proof and information.
WAYS TO ADQUIRE AN ALPHEAN
- Official adopts through; flatsales, auctions and raffles (ko-fi supporters exclusive).- Custom designs made by official designers.- Trading/selling in the community.
ADOPTING AN ALPHEAN
When adopting an Alphean you will get a reference sheet and a premade backstory. This backstory is OPTIONAL and up to the user. Alpheans are leaping species and they can and will travel and live in different cultures and planets so their flexibility on the subject is up to the owners decision.-Keeping the Alphean within the Prime System will mean you will join the roleplay sessions and interactions on the main Discord server and therefore partake on the main lore.- Whilst partaking in the main lore, it is also okay to have AU versions of these characters in different stories of yours.IMPORTANT:
-You may create AU versions of your Alphean. However, they are restricted to non-closed species only to make sure to not step on anyone's toes. (Unless said species is owned by you).-When transferring ownership of your Alphean, any and all AU designs must either be nullified or forfeited to the new owner.
VOIDING AND UNVOIDING
Users who become blacklisted due to repeated rule breaking of community guidelines and TOS will have their Alphean voided. Voiding means that the Alphean will no longer be considered part of the species until un-voided. If you purchased a voided Alphean and want it to re-listed on the masterlist you can contact server mods and they’ll get you sorted.
Voided Alphean do NOT take part in official lore nor events. Pls bring our babies home!
THE DO AND DON'TS OF ALPHEANS
DO:
- Coordinate with other Alphean owners- Use the approved trait lists- Follow adopt, MYO, and upgrade guidelines- Enjoy the RP!DON'T:
- Create relations without the consent of other Alphean owners.- Treat Alpheans as an Open Species. It is a Closed Species. All designs go through InkAntlers.- Completely overhaul designs. Adopt designs can be modified by purchasing upgrade items.
CLARIFYING STATEMENTS
- If you want your character to know another character, you must have agreement from the owner of the other character.- Creating minor characters in LORE for your character to be related to/have relations with is allowed, however you cannot make them fully fledged designs. They must remain anonymous shapes/silhouettes in any illustrative work or writing. They can't be related to other characters without the consent of the owner of other character.- Directly related NPCs (ie, parents) can only exist in concept and not in design. These conceptual NPCs are considered an accessory to your Alphean. To get a solid design for these other character ideas you have, you need a MYO or adopt another Alphean.-Upgrades are add-ons to your Alphean. In canon, they mutate or fit over your Alphean's existing body, not replace. You cannot redo a design and make it lose its initial identity.
RESELLING AND VALUE
- ALPHEANS HAVE A COOLDOWN OF ONE MONTH; this means that after resold/purchased, you must wait a month to be able to resell/retrade them again. This species is not meant to be trade and sell oriented, and most Alpheans stay forever with their owners.-Get approval from mods before selling your Alphean so we can maintain the masterlist. Unknown sales will result in the character being voided.- You must sell at the price you purchased the Alphean for. Inflating the price of an Alphean when reselling is prohibited. Additional cost due to art is allowed, BUT ONLY IF IT'S A COMMISSIONED PIECE, AND ONLY THE PRICE YOU'VE ACTIVELY PAID.- When advertising to sell or trade your Alphean, you must also provide the original value you purchased them at and all images/art of them so the buyer can oversee the value and confirm the fair price.- You must update ownership transfers in the appropriate channel within the discord server.- Once sold/traded an Alphean will enter a cooldown period. The cooldown starts the moment the ML has been updated.- An Alphean cannot be sold, traded nor gifted until this cooldown has ended.
All that being said if you do decide to keep them in The Prime System, as long as all of the basics listed here are followed, all is good! Alphea is a BIG world with many continents and cultures, it's made so basically everything is viable to do. Endless adventures and possibilities.IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE BROKEN, THE OWNER OF THE ALPHEANS WILL BE BLACKLISTED FROM ANY CLOSED SPECIES ASSOCIATED WITH INKANTLERS AND THEIR CHARACTERS VOIDED

It is crucial to maintains the standard of worldbuilding relevancy and quality that the species establishes.
Because of this, the ways to obtain an Alphean are either though flatsales posted in TH or Discord, Custom work done by InkAntlers [Only accessible through ko-fi tiers] or the purchase of an already done design up for resale.
When buying second-hand designs, please remember that gifted Alpheans have a sale value of $0 and may only be traded for art or characters.Standard pricings tend to go as the following:

Tickets cannot be pre-purchased for a custom work or non existing Alpheans. All tickets are applied the moment they are purchased.For custom work, clients provide personality, themes and moodboards to InkAntlers to produce the design. The client can chose one or two fixed traits but the rest are left to the tweaking and adjusting of the design. The focus of customs is not trait driven- but to make a character that is perfect for its owner in theme and personality.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is an Alphean?
An Alphean is a character from Alphea, a closed species world made by InkAntlers (das me!) They are part of a RP/Worldbuilding community within my Discord server. Access to said community can only be gained by owning an Alphean yourself.
Is Omegia and Alphea the same?
Omegia and Alphea share UNIVERSE but they are not the same story or world. They both exist within the Andromeda galaxy. Omegians are unaware of Alphea's existence and Alphea has dictated Omegia is OFF LIMITS of their system due to how dangerous it is socially and biologically.Alpheans are incapable of breathing Omegia's atmosphere and vice versa.
Do Alpheans have magic?
Alphea does not possess any sort of magic that can be harnessed. Though, they are a very advanced society that has been capable of creating things beyond humans' capabilities. Their world falls under Eco-Punk and intergrate nature into a lot of their constructions and daily life.
What is their pricing information?
Pricing information for them can be found in InkAntlers' discord server, alongside his ko-fi.
I have an Alphean, how much can i change of their design?
Design changes are allowed as long as it does not affect the trait rarity of your Alphean. This can mean you can change minor marking aspects as long as it maintains its color, clothing styles, hairstyles, minor physical aspects and the like to make your Alphean more comfortable for you. IF your change is major and would drastically change the design in question please ask mods/InkAntlers first.Prosthetics, augmentation, hue changes and things of the like should be done with a MYO ticket. Can i change my Alphean's sex? What About their name?
Sex and name changes are always allowed upon purchasing the Alphean. They are always designed to be flexible enough to allow these sort of things. But due to sentimental value and consistency, we always suggest on keeping their original names. Please contant mods when it comes to changes so the Masterlist is up to date.
Can i change the pre-established story of my Alphean?
Yes, the pre established story is only optional and up to the owner to follow. They are made to make the owner more accessible to the world but is never obligatory.
Can i co-own an Alphean?
No, Alpheans cannot be co-owned due to their RP nature.
I purchased/traded a voided Alphean, how do i unvoid them?
Contact mod staff in the Coconut Cafe discord server and they will take care of that!
Can i resell/trade/swap my Alphean?
Yes, but it falls under the owner's responsibility to notify Alphean mods about it so we can keep the ML entry updated. When traded, please make sure to follow the rules of the TOS in this page. When a new owner arrives it is their choice to maintain or rehaul the lore of the acquired Alphean.
Can i gift my Alphean?
Yes! And that is super sweet of you. Please do know that when you gift an Alphean, their resell value becomes 0$ so people do not take advantage of your nice gesture.
